Meet Kaitlynn

Kaitlynn joined the Great Lakes Equine team in June of 2024 as a veterinary technician. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Emphasis in Animal Science.

Throughout college, she worked as a veterinary assistant at a small animal clinic; however, her passion to become an equine certified veterinary technician was always her long-term goal. Although she doesn’t have horses of her own, she gained experience within the equine community by taking riding lessons through her local 4-H, working as a stable hand, show groom, and volunteering her time to shadow local equine veterinarians. She also mentored children struggling with emotional challenges to grow in confidence, interpersonal skills, and healing through equine partnership and care.

At Great Lakes Equine, Kaitlynn is excited to gain knowledge on equine health while providing her team and the Great Lakes Equine clients with assistance and support during every appointment.
